Subtly wear beautiful Japanese
The necklace was created by the calligrapher/designer Saori Kunihiro. The 10K necklace was designed after the highly subtle and beautiful “Hiragana” letters. The designer wanted “the beauty of `Hiragana` delivered through merging it with the modern times, creating a familiar sense with writing.” From the times when Manyo was written, Hiragana letters have been passed down for over a thousand years. “Kana” is Japan’s beautiful, distinct culture that never existed before as accessories for adults.
The beautiful curvature of hiragana that have been skillfully designed
“Hiragana” letters have curves that are similar in expression to feminine and graceful movements, as well as beautiful hearts. These innately beautiful forms and curvature were used to make a form that does not stand out too strongly as part of your fashion.
Wearing the spirit of Japan
Maybe life is full of opportunities to say “thank you” and show appreciation for others. If you always remember to be appreciative and be thankful for the small things every day, then you are sure to be happy.

Her projects are related to letters based on “writing” and include creating commercial logos, title letterings for books, naming documents, business cards, stamps, and holding workshops related to calligraphy.
All the projects are the same in that they express how Kanji and Hiragana have softness, beauty, intrigue, as well as history in a form that can match modern times. Although her works have impacts as pieces of art, it also proposes designs that blend into daily lives in harmony, expressing the traditional Japanese appeals through the Japanese language.
